Camping trip...sorta

After fishing we came home and packed all our camping stuff into the car because we wanted to take the kids camping. Jordan was so excited to sleep in a tent and be outdoors. Mike wanted to take us to Navajo Lake up Cedar Mountain so we started heading that way. As we were driving, this is was what we saw...soon it started raining lightly. We were optimistic that it would clear up so we continued driving up the canyon. We got there and it was still raining but mike and I put up the rent and the air mattress, unloaded the car and hung out in the tent waiting for the rain to pass. To make a longer story short...it never stopped raining, started raining more, the wind started blowing, it was 45 degrees outside AND our tent was leaking. So we packed everything back up and headed home. At least we tried eh....We are planning a camping trip again in 3 weeks and this time we'll check the weather forecast first! LOL These are the memories that will last a lifetime and at least we were together.
